The Al Wakra Public Library was founded in 1985 and houses a collection of approximately 37,205 Arabic books and 2,728 English books. Its mission is to provide essential information and bibliographic services to scholars and intellectuals in the surrounding geographical area. The library offers an external book lending service to its members.
Periodic cultural activities and lectures are also organized by the library, particularly during significant cultural events such as World Book Day. Additionally, the library welcomes school visits to promote awareness among students of its importance, usage, and contents, as well as ways to benefit from its resources.
