Qatar Media Corporation

Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) is a publicly funded broadcasting network in Qatar that operates several television and radio networks, including Qatar TV and Qatar Broadcasting Service (QBS) radio station. QMC was established on April 27th, 1997 and was restructured in 2009 to oversee media services in various channels such as Alkass Sports Channels, Qatar Radio, Quraan Kareem Radio, QBS Radio, Oryx FM Radio, Urdu Radio, and Sout Al Khaleej Radio.

QMC operates under the slogan "keeping up with what's new and to our values we commit," with a commitment to serving the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030. The organization aims to keep up with the latest media technologies and developments while producing content that supports the state's development while also preserving its culture and identity.
